Mas Saint Damien, a 17th century farmhouse in the heart of Provence

A wonderful old stone Provencal farmhouse built in 1610 but with a barn conversion added so that it now sleeps up to 16 people (max 14 adults) in eight bedrooms with 7 bath or shower rooms, as well as a study bedroom, three large reception rooms and a well equipped kitchen. This substantial family house in a lovely setting has a large swimming pool (6m x 12m) and floodlit hard tennis court with uninterrupted views over the Vaucluse plateau.

Welcome to Mas Saint Damien

The farmhouse and barn wrap around a spacious, floodlit courtyard full of trees and shrubs and with an old olive tree at its centre. The courtyard with its large wrought iron gates offers various areas to sit, to enjoy both sun and shade. The sheltered 3 metre oak table with ceiling fans is the perfect setting for long Provencal meals and there are both gas and charcoal barbeques available.

Explore Provence

Whilst the house is set in the countryside surrounded by apple and cherry orchards, fields of lavender, vineyards and olive groves, L’Isle sur la Sorgue, the antiques capital of Southern France is just 3 km, a short bicycle ride, away. The nearby Medieval villages of the Luberon are wonderfully romantic places to explore and there are classic Provencal markets to enjoy every day of the week.
